The LET’S ROCK AMERICA - VOTE 2012 is an event to raise awareness and encourage individuals to get out and vote. Our country is at a critical crossroads and this is one of the most important elections in our history. There are 52 million evangelical Christians in America; this makes up 26% of eligible voters. In the 2008 Presidential election, 33 million (63%) voted. 10 million evangelical Christians were eligible to vote but were unregistered. 9 million evangelical Christians were registered but did not vote. The America that we know is disappearing. Our families are broken, life is no longer valued, and our very freedom is at stake. In these uncertain times, many in our communities have lost zeal for our great nation. We pray that this event will serve to restore patriotism and hope to the community. Our republic can only survive if Christians realize that they must participate in the selection of our leaders. James A. Garfield, our 20th president once said, "If the next centennial does not find us a great nation....it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces." Let's come together as a community and turn our culture around.
